Winter Salad- Tangerines, Avocado, Beets & Lettuce with Yogis Organic
Winter is peaking in Delhi by the day and its becoming increasingly difficult to come out of my bed for anything. All that I want to do is have a hot cup of cocoa and laze around the whole day.
But not so lucky, I have work (office) and more work (blog) to do.
In between all the tussles of having heaps of work and wanting to stay in quilt, I wanted to have something healthy and tasty. Since, I have messed up with my exercise schedule also, I am trying to at least be fair towards having good food. Having salad once a day is not just a great way to avoid the unnecessary calories that we munch in, but its also a amazing source of energy. Snacking with salad is the perfect addition to your day and is a guiltfree solution to hunger pangs.
So aptly named, its the ultimate WINTER SALAD with veggies from YOGIS ORGANIC. Made with fresh vegetables sourced directly from the farms, completely organic, you don't have to worry about all those harmful pesticides going in. The tangerines are to die for, soft, juicy and sourly sweet, I haven't had better till date, the Avocados are beautifully buttery, the perfect addition to any salad or sandwich and the lettuce were so fresh and crunchy. Dice the avocados into small cubes.
Slice the olives if not already sliced.
Slice the tangerines in thin circles and carefully remove the peel.
You can cut the lettuce in halves or one thirds if the leaves are large. It can also be used as it is. - Making the salad dressing:Simple mix together all the dressing ingredients listed above in a bowl.
Now add half of the chopped veggies and mix well. Then add rest of the half. I do it this way to make sure the dressing reaches all veggies nicely and if needed more dressing can be added.
