Pasta Arabiatta- Borges Arabiatta Sauce
What do you every time you crave some yummy pasta. Head out to your favourite café and order some. Because to have authentic flavoured pasta at home is a task of its own. Making the arabiatta sauce is equal parts fun and effort.
I'm definitely the effort taker but there are times when I want an option that does the job for me. And the amazing folks at BORGES have made all our lives easier and tastier by doing so. They have made a lovely concoction of tomatoes and spices to make this super yummy Borges Arabiatta Sauce. All you need to add is pasta and you have a delicious Pasta Arabiatta (Red Sauce) on your dinner table. They do the effort, you enjoy the pasta. Do try their pasta sauce and let me know in the comments how you enjoy your warm plate of pasta.
The recipe to the pasta I made is given below. Enjoy Pasta Arabiatta with Borges Pasta Sauce.
PASTA ARABIATTA SAUCE | VEGETARIAN
INGREDIENTS
Pasta (I used Borges Chifferi Rigati,
you can use your favourite shape) |
1 cup
|
Onion (sliced)
|
1 big
|
Oregano seasoning
|
2-3 tsp
|
Dried Parsley
|
2 tsp
|
Dried Basil
|
1 tsp
|
Salt
|
1 tsp (for pasta boiling)
1 tsp (for sauce)
(more or less as per your taste) |
Borges Arrabbiata Sauce
|
150 g (Half bottle)
|
METHOD
- In a deep saucepan boil the pasta in water adding 1/2 tsp of olive oil and pinch of salt. Oil prevents the pasta from sticking to each other.
- In another pan, put 2-3 tsp of oil and add the onions to it. Sprinkle some salt & saute until they turn golden brown.
- You can add your choice of veggies at this point- bell peppers, baby corns, mushrooms. I kept it plain this time.
- Add oregano seasoning, dried basil leaves, dried parsley and black pepper.
- Now add Borges Arrabbiata Sauce and cook for a minute.
- Add the boiled pasta to this sauce and cook for 2- 3minutes, stirring regularly.
- Add some grated mozzarella cheese on top and put off the flame.
- Before serving add some more oregano on top.
Your next dinner is all set with some hot and yummy Arrabbiata Pasta.
Happy Eating! :)
I love red sauce pasta and Arabiata pasta is like a heaven in the plate for me. I would like to know if there is any change of taste when you have different shaped pasta?!
