Love is in the air!

Coming out of such feelings, having the courage to do what we really want to is probably the most challenging tasks, but taking that step to believe in yourself, cut yourself some slack and show some love, it has unparalleled positive impacts.

And as part of the much talked above self love, I made this super simple and quick No Bake Maple Chocolate & Strawberry Tarts with no added sugar. It starts with a simple base of your favourite crushed cookies, filled with maple dipped strawberries & whipped cream, topped with fresh strawberries, chocolate sauce and some more maple. (And no, its not over sweet)





The recipe to this very easy Chocolate Strawberry Tarts is below. Hoping you love yourself as much as you do others and this Valentine brings you all the warmth and care you deserve.

MAPLE CHOCOLATE & STRAWBERRY TARTS | NO BAKE | EGGLESS

INGREDIENTS

Choco-chip Cookies
6-7
Salted Butter
2 tbsp
Strawberries
8-10
100% Pure Maple Syrup from Canada
2-3 tsp
Cinnamon Powder
½ tsp
Heavy Whipping Cream
½ cup
Vanilla Essence
1 tsp
Dark Chocolate
5-6 small cubes (melted)
Chocolate Powder
For topping


METHOD

  1. The Cookie Crust: Crush the cookies in a blender. Add butter and blend it again. Press the crushed cookies onto the base and sides of the tart tin/mould. Refrigerate for an hour for it to set. Remove from the tin once it is completely set.
  2. Strawberries: Chop 4-5 strawberries. In a bowl take 2 tsp of maple syrup, cinnamon powder and mix the strawberries in it to ensure all the strawberries are coated.
  3. Cream filling: Take heavy whipping cream in a bowl and add vanilla and whip it to semi stiff peaks. Add melted dark chocolate to this.
    Note- If the whipping cream is unsweetened, then add 2-3 tsp of maple syrup while beating.
  4. Assembling the tarts: Put the chopped strawberries on the cookie base. Now fill the rest with whipped cream. Top it off with some more strawberries and chocolate powder.
