Best Iced Coffee- Summer Chiller
Summers are still very much on in Delhi. Its scorching hot outside, and to beat the heat we make chillers at home. Chillers or Summer coilers are a great way to refresh in summers and are very easy to put together.
Cold coffee is in my "things I cant live without list" for so long now. I generally make it with ice cream and in a juicer mixer with all the froth and thick milk and chocolaty flavour. But iced coffee is something I have been wanting to try because of the fact that its super easy to make and is also fun.
You just have to freeze the coffee into coffee ice cubes and whenever you want just add milk and sugar for a great cold coffee. That's all you have to do for a quick iced coffee after a long and tiring day.
The recipe for the ICED COFFEE is down below. You can tweak the measures as per your choice- dark, light, sweetened or unsweetened. And its nice and healthy too if you use skimmed milk.

ICED COFFEE
INGREDIENTS

Milk (as per your preference)

1 glass

Water
|
1 cup

Instant Coffee Powder
|
3 tsp
|
|
Sugar
|
as per your taste
( 2 tsp for me/ 1 tsp of sugar free
powder)
|
|
Vanilla Essence
|
1 tsp
|
|
Nutella (optional)
|
1 tsp
|
METHOD
- Take a cup of water and boil it.
- Add the instant coffee powder to it and mix well. Make sure it dissolves completely.
- Add the vanilla essence to this.
- Now freeze the coffee in an ice cube tray for 4-5 hours. (You can have them in many shapes too, just to add the fun element)
- When the cubes are frozen, take a glass of milk. It can be as per your choice- full fat, with cream, toned, skimmed, half water-half milk mix. I prefer a glass of toned milk.
- Now add the powdered sugar. (It dissolves instantly)
- Now put in the coffee ice cubes, as much as you want, light to dark. I prefer my coffee light and so I used around 4-5 cubes.
- The iced coffee is ready. So simple!
Try it at home, and I would love to see your version of iced coffee. You can flavour it in different ways by adding desired syrups.
Tip: Just add a spoon of Nutella and it is the most amazing coffee you will have.
No mixer, no cream, no mess. Iced coffee whenever you feel like having it.
